A partnership between the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation and NEIA uniting students, families, and communities to create a lasting impact through a fundraising campaign running from Dec 5, 2024, to Mar 1, 2025. The goal is to raise at least $200,000 while providing the NEIA community with a meaningful experience in innovation and giving back.

Impact

Funds raised will enable families with children and adolescents facing pediatric cancer to attend support sessions at the Richi House, a supportive environment focused on well-being and holistic care, addressing unmet needs to improve the quality of life for patients, survivors, and their families.

Funds raised will also provide low-income students with the opportunity to participate in The Richi Innovation Camp, a program designed for creative minds aged 14-17 interested in STEM and Art. This unique experience, hosted at NEIA from July 7 to July 16, will offer students hands-on learning and exposure to Boston’s innovation ecosystem.

Join us in making a real difference! Not only can you make an impact through your contribution, but you can also expand the reach of this initiative by engaging your network. Share your commitment with friends, family, coworkers, and others in your community, and inspire them to give.

Give or Get

This is a unique opportunity for NEIA families to host a cocktail gathering at home, featuring a fireside chat led by Ricardo Garcia, President of the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation, with an inspirational guest speaker. These gatherings allow families and their guests to hear powerful stories, engage in meaningful discussions on innovation and impact, and inspire contributions to the campaign—all while enjoying complimentary cocktails provided by NEIA.

Innovate for Impact Fest Day

Join us on March 1 at NEIA for Innovate for Impact Fest Day, a one-day celebration marking the end of our fundraising campaign. This event will bring the NEIA community together to celebrate our impact, featuring a team-based hackathon where students tackle real-world challenges across three areas with measurable outcomes. Through inspiring talks, interactive activities, and innovative solutions, we’ll honor the contributions that support families affected by childhood cancer and empower low-income students.

Richi House Tours

We invite NEIA faculty, students, families, and friends to tour the Richi House and experience firsthand the impact of our mission. These tours offer an opportunity to connect more closely with our cause, providing a deeper understanding of how the funds raised directly support and transform the lives of families affected by childhood cancer.
